Here's a little something that I saw on another photographer's blog earlier this week. How true it is! I wish it were a little more like how people think photographers spend their time! I would love to spend more of my time taking pictures, but thanks to Hailey Tucker (who is awesome and does a lot of editing and other office work for me), I do get to spend more of my time on the fun stuff. Anyway, just thought you might all find this interesting...

Hope everyone had a wonderful New Years! We did-- just sat at home in the hot tub with the kids tucked snuggly in their beds-- it was perfect, especially after a night on the town a couple of days earlier (the Mickey and The Motorcars show at Whiskey's)...

Wanted to share some photos from Lorena and David's weeding. I haven't known them long, but can tell that Lorena and David are going to be super happy together! A pharmicist and a surgeon (who work in the same hospital system in Atlanta), and seem like they should have crossed paths at least a couple of times, Lorena and David actually ended up meeting online. Anyway, they hit it off right away and seem perfect for each other! They were so happy to be getting married in Sun Valley, where David's grandpa built a cabin just north of Chocolate Gulch.

Hope you all had a great holiday! We really had so much fun-- having little kids makes Christmas so exciting! We were also just totally lazy, sitting around and napping all day, which I never do, but was awesome!

It seems like it's baby season again in the valley! I've been doing lots of newborn sessions and Annalee, who you see here, is the latest and cutest. So many new little ones are skinny, but Annalee has the cutest chub-- I love it! Leah is also such a beautiful new mom. I had a great time photographing them!
